Your Status:

By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:

• You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
• You are 18 years of age or over; and
• You accept our Terms and Conditions as set out herein.

Payment:

Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Switch, MasterCard, PayPal & Digital Wallets are accepted as methods of payment. All transactions are in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.

Delivery:

When you order goods from our website, the cost of delivery will be calculated automatically. Our aim is to keep all products in stock at our warehouse or at our suppliers for fast delivery.

We endeavour to dispatch orders within 2 working days. In some cases, where stock is held at our suppliers, shipping may take an extra day. As soon as orders are dispatched you will receive an email/SMS stating that your goods are on their way to you.

Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery. If you have not received delivery by this point, please contact our customer service team. Tracking is available here: www.tracking.bptools.co.uk.

VAT, Customs and Duty:

We do not collect VAT for Irish orders. Since February 2021, VAT, customs and duty are handled by DPD.

We use DPD DAP, which means DPD will deliver any parcel and collect any due duties and taxes directly from the recipient. DPD now ship into the EU via 5 clearance houses. Each country charges a receiver’s fee. For Ireland, an additional fee of €5 + VAT will apply.

Stock Availability:

We aim to keep in stock, or available, all items that we advertise for sale. However, there may be occasions where a product is unavailable due to production difficulties, unexpected demand, or other reasons.

If this occurs, we will contact you with the option of supplying a suitable alternative or providing an estimated delivery date. We will only supply an alternative with your consent. If you do not wish to wait or accept an alternative, we will refund the full value of the product and any applicable carriage charges.

Pricing:

All prices quoted are shown both inclusive and exclusive of VAT. The only possible additional charge above the item price is carriage.

VAT is clearly detailed on the invoice provided. If any product is incorrectly priced on our website, we will:

• Charge the lower amount if the correct price is lower; or
• Contact you before dispatch if the correct price is higher.

We are under no obligation to sell a product at an incorrect (lower) price if the error is obvious.

Ireland:

We do not collect VAT for Irish orders. VAT, customs and duty are handled by DPD under DAP terms.

If customs/VAT is refused by the recipient, the goods will be returned to us. Refunds will be issued minus the shipping cost.

Guarantees & Warranties:

As part of our commitment to quality we provide a 1 year warranty on all hand tools, provided they are used correctly. Manufacturers may provide longer warranties.

For power tools, we follow manufacturer warranty guidelines. If your power tool develops a fault, please see our warranty page for details.

We supply both consumer and trade customers. Where applicable, consumer statutory rights apply.

Cooling Off Period:

You may cancel and return any item within 30 days of receipt for a full refund (less shipping) or exchange.

Returns & Refunds – Items Not Required:

If your order is damaged, unwanted, or incorrect:

• All return requests must be submitted via our contact form.
• Damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
• Incorrectly supplied or missing items must be reported within 24 hours.

Faulty items will be referred to the nearest authorised repair agent under the manufacturer’s warranty.

Written Communications:

You agree that communication with us may be electronic (email or website notices). This complies with legal requirements for written communications.

All notices must be sent to:

Transfer of Rights & Obligations:

Contracts between you and us are binding on both parties and their successors. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations at any time.

Events Outside Our Control (Force Majeure):

We will not be liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including (but not limited to): strikes, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, or failures of transport/communications.

Waiver, Severability & Entire Agreement:

Failure to enforce any term does not waive our rights. If any term is found unenforceable, the rest remain valid. These terms, and referenced documents, form the entire agreement between us.

You may print/copy parts of this website only to place an order. Any other use requires prior written permission.

Disclaimer:

Prices and information may change without notice. While we aim for accuracy, BP Tools makes no warranties (express or implied) regarding information on this site, except as required by law.

Our Liability:

Products are warranted to be of satisfactory quality. Liability is limited to the purchase price and foreseeable losses. We do not accept liability for indirect losses such as lost business, profit, data, or time.

This does not exclude liability for death/personal injury due to negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
